You can receive feedback on your videos and provide feedback to peers using PitchVantage online dashboard:
1. upload your video and invite up to 6 peers to review your video
2. review and comment on your peer's video
3. review feedback on your video
How to upload my video and invite my peers to review?
Open Google Chrome as your web browser.
Log into the PitchVantage cloud site (where you do your practice sessions) > Clicktab on top.
Decide which video session you want to upload and click VIEW button of that session.
Click Upload or Content depending on your PitchVantage version.
Click Continue. If you see the message below, your video has been uploaded to PitchVantage Online Dashboard successfully. Then click the hyperlinked Dashboard in the message.
The Online Dashboard currently only works on Google Chrome browser. Log into your Online Dashboard, then click Videos on top.
You are by default under My Videos tab. From here, you should see all the videos that you have uploaded and the most recent one is on top of the list. If not, please email firstname.lastname@example.org immediately.
Please note: video submissions are in Central Time (CT) for all users within United States and Universal Time Coordinated (UTC) for all users outside of United States.
Type the new video title and click Save.
If you want to delete a video, simply clickunder Action column. Please note that you will NOT be able to delete the video if your peer reviewer or instructor has already commented on your video and you will NOT be able to upload the same video again from your desktop PitchVantage application.
To invite a classmate or colleague to review your video, click Select Peer Reviewer of the video that you want to share.
*If you don't see Peer Reviewer(s) column, it means your instructor will select your peer reviewers for you. You don't have to do anything here.
Select up to 6 peers to review your video and click Save. Once you have successfully selected your peer reviewers, their names will appear.
Finally, clickunder Action column.
Type the information that you want your peer reviewers to know before they review your video, then click Save.
You are all set! An invitation email has been sent on your behalf to the peer reviewer(s).
How to review my peer's video?
First, you will receive an email notification if your peer has invited you as his/her peer reviewer.
Click My Reviews tab. From here, you can see all the videos that your peer invited you to comment.
Clickunder Action column to read the basic information regarding the video you are about to review. Then click the video that you want to review. From here, you can start posting comments!
- On the left screen, clickbutton to play the video
- On the right screen, post your comments for the video
Your comments are time coded automatically to that spot in the video. So in your comment, you can refer to anything you see or hear in the video. Your peer would understand.
The easiest way to comment: While watching the video, you can start posting your comment in the comment box. The video will automatically pause while you are typing and automatically resume after you press enter to post comment.
You can Edit or Delete any comments you posted.
You can also reply to other peer reviewer's comments by clicking Reply.
Once you've finished watching and commenting the video, scroll down the web page.
- On the left screen, rate your peer's performance based on rubric (clickto view rubric)
- On the right screen, type an overall comment about the video and click
Important: you are required to post the overall comment for the video to notify your peer via email that his/her video has been reviewed.
How to review feedback on my video?
Once your peers reviewed your video and provided comments, you will receive an email notification.
The Online Dashboard currently only works on the Google Chrome browser.
the time-coded comments will automatically appear at the bottom of the video for you to instantly refer back to your presentation.
