Instructor: Blackboard Integration

If your school has integrated PitchVantage into Blackboard, you can add PitchVantage to course assignments in Blackboard.

Blackboard Ultra

First, log into your Blackboard instructor account > Click Courses from the toolbar on the left, then click into a course.

Within the course navigation, click the + icon > Content Market.

Under Institution Tools, find PitchVantage then click the + icon.

You have now added one PitchVantage assignment to the course.

Click the three horizontal dots > Edit, input new assignment details as you would normally do for any assignments.

Important: change the status to Visible to students.

Lastly, make sure to click into the PitchVantage assignment you just created. It will directly take you to your PitchVantage admin account and connect the two systems.

PitchVantage is now integrated into this Blackboard assignment. You can do the same for any assignments and courses in Blackboard. When your students are ready to complete the assignment, they will directly launch PitchVantage from the course assignment page. No registration is needed.

Blackboard Original

First, log into your Blackboard instructor account > Click Courses from the toolbar on the left, then click into a course.

Within the course navigation, click Content. Under the Content area where you want to add PitchVantage assignment, select Build Content > PitchVantage.

Input new assignment details as you would normally do for any assignments.

Important: Under OPTIONS, make sure to select Yes for Permit Users to View this Content

Click Submit. Lastly, make sure to click into the PitchVantage assignment you just created. It will directly take you to your PitchVantage admin account and connect the two systems.
