Instructor: Moodle Integration

If your school has integrated PitchVantage into Moodle, you can add PitchVantage to course assignments in Moodle.

Moodle Version 4.3 and above

First, log into your Moodle instructor account and click into your course. Within the course navigation, turn on Edit mode.

Under the course, click on More tab > LTI External tools.

Find PitchVantage and enable Show in activity chooser.

Go back to the Course tab > Click on +Add an activity or resource.

Select PitchVantage.

Input activity details as you would normally do. Once done, Save and display.

Important: now turn OFF the Edit mode, and then click Open in new window. It will directly take you to your PitchVantage admin dashboard and connect the two systems.

PitchVantage is now integrated into this Moodle activity, Do the same for any courses as needed (one-time effort). Your students will directly launch PitchVantage from this page. No manual student registration is needed.

Moodle Version 4.2 and below

First, log into your Moodle instructor account and click into your course. Within the course navigation, Turn Editing on.

In the relevant section of your course, + Add an activity or resource.

Select External tool.

Next to Preconfigured tool, select PitchVantage.

Input rest of activity details as you would normally do. Once done, Save and return to course.

Important: now Turn editing off, and then click into PitchVantage activity you just created. It will directly take you to your PitchVantage admin dashboard and connect the two systems.

PitchVantage is now integrated into this Moodle activity, Do the same for any courses as needed (one-time effort). Your students will directly launch PitchVantage from this page. No manual student registration is needed.
