Create video assignments as the instructor

Log into https://pitchvantage.com/log-in/ as instructor/trainer.


*Note: If PitchVantage is integrated with your course LMS (Canvas, Moodle, Blackboard, D2L), simply log into your LMS account and launch PitchVantage from your course assignment page.


Click Assignments on top.



Select a course section on the left, then click Add Assignment > Presentation/Response.



Title: e.g. Research presentation


Assignment Type: presentation OR response. Response has no slides/visual aids


Choose Room: this is the simulated room students will practice in, from large room size to small. Video conference room is for online presentation in which slides appear during the entire time.


Choose Rubric: add a rubric later as needed for peer review or grading purposes


Enter Text Description, Enter Video Description, Add Files, Add Links:

Add in more guidelines of this assignment: background information, what students are expected to accomplish, etc. You can add in as many supporting details as you want or keep it simple like this: refer back to LMS for details.


Presentation Type: more Persuasive OR Informative in nature


Audience Type: Technical OR General. General audience has no in-depth knowledge of the topic


Presentation Duration: e.g. 1 minute 30 seconds


Assignment Due Date: in a course setting, always select Fixed then enter a fixed due date


Click SubmitYour assignment updates will be instantly synced to student accounts.
