Step One: Creating the LTI Key
In Global Navigation, click the Admin link, then click the name of the account.
In Account Navigation, click the Developer Keys link.
Click the + Developer Key then click + LTI Key.
Enter the following information:
- Key Name: PitchVantage LTI 1.3
- Owner Email: support@pitchvantage.com
- Redirect URLs:
- https://cp.pitchvantage.com
- https://cp.pitchvantage.com/canvas/login
- https://cp.pitchvantage.com/canvas/launch
- Under Configure, Select the following method: Enter URL
- Paste the following JSON URL: https://cp.pitchvantage.com/canvas/config
- Click Save
A Client ID will be automatically generated and displays in the Details column. Provide PitchVantage with the Developer Key CLIENT ID.
Enable the developer key by switching it to on.
Step Two (last step): Install the LTI Tool at the Account or Sub-Account Level
At the account level, external tools must be installed in the External Apps page in Account Settings. In Global Navigation, click the Admin link, then click the name of the account or sub-account.
Click the Settings link in the left sidebar.
Click Apps tab, then click +APP button.
Select the Configuration Type drop-down menu and set the configuration type to By Client ID.
Add App CLIENT ID. You can obtain the Client ID from the LTI developer key generated in step one. It should be under the column name Details.
Click the Submit button.
If the app has already been added in the account, Canvas verifies that you still want to install the app. To continue, click the Yes, Install Tool button.
Once installation completes, click on Settings icon.
Click on Deployment id, it will open the popup. Copy the deployment id.
