Admin configuration for Canvas

Step One: Creating the LTI Key


In Global Navigation, click Admin, then click into the account.


In Account Navigation, click the Developer Keys link.



Click the + Developer Key then click + LTI Key.



Enter the following information:

  • Key Name: PitchVantage LTI 1.3
  • Owner Email: support@pitchvantage.com
  • Redirect URLs:
  1. https://cp.pitchvantage.com
  2. https://cp.pitchvantage.com/canvas/login
  3. https://cp.pitchvantage.com/canvas/launch


A Client Id will be automatically generated and display in the Details column. Copy the key, you will enter it in step 2. 


Enable the developer key by switching it to ON.




Step Two (last step): Install the LTI Tool at the Account or Sub-Account Level


In Global Navigation, click the Admin link, then click in the account or sub-account.


Click the Settings link in the left sidebar.



Click Apps tab, then click +APP button.



Configuration Type: By Client ID

Client ID: paste the Client ID you obtained in step one. It's under Details

Click the Submit button.


Click Install.



Once installation completes, click on Settings icon > Deployment Id.



A pop up opens with Deployment Id information.



Lastly, please send three pieces of information to support@pitchvantage.com now:

-Client Id

-Deployment Id

-Student canvas login URL
