Note: this is for institutions that have enabled PitchVantage-Canvas integration.
First, log into your Canvas instructor account > Click Courses from the toolbar on the left, then click the name of the course for which you want to use PitchVantage.
Within the course navigation, click Assignments.
Click the Add Assignment button and input new assignment details as you would normally do for any assignments.
Under Submission Type, choose External Tool from the dropdown then click find.
A popup will open. Find PitchVantage Application and click Select.
Important: select Load in new tab.
Save and feel free to publish the assignment.
Lastly, make sure to open PitchVantage in New Window. It will directly take you to your admin account in PitchVantage and connect the two systems.
You are all set! Now PitchVantage is integrated into your course in Canvas for this assignment. You can do the same for any assignments and courses in Canvas. When your students are ready to complete an assignment using PitchVantage, all they need to do is log into their Canvas student account, go to your course assignment, and directly click the PitchVantage link in their account to start working on it.
