Create LTI 1.3 Integration of PitchVantage app with your D2L/BrightSpace LMS.

Step 1 of 3: Register LTI Advantage Tool

  1. Click the gear icon in the top right corner and select Manage Extensibility 


  1. Select the LTI Advantage tab and click the Register Tool buttonImage

  2. Enter the following information

  1. Provide PitchVantage with the Client ID

Step 2 of 3: Create LTI Advantage Deployment


  1. Click the gear icon in the top right corner and select External Learning ToolsImage

  2. Select the LTI Advantage tab and click the New Deployment buttonImage

  3. Enter the following information

  • For tools, select the LTI Advantage tool you registered above in Step 1

  • Name: PitchVantage Content Selection

  • Check the following fields under Extensions

    • Assignment and Grades Services

    • Names and Roles Provisioning Services

  • Check the following under Security Settings

    • Org Unit Information

    • User Information

      • First name

      • Middle Name

      • Last Name

    • Email

    • User ID

    • Org Defined Id

    • Link Information

      • Title

      • Description

  1. Make tool available to the appropriate org units.

  2. Click Create Deployment.

  3. Please copy and save the Deployment ID or take a screenshot of the deployment details and send it to PitchVantage Team.

Step 3 of 3: Create New Link


  1. Open the LTI Advantage Deployment created above.

  2. Scroll to the bottom and click View Links (see screenshot below)Image

  3. Click the New Link button (see screenshot below)Image

  4. Enter the following information

  • Name: PitchVantage

  • URL

  • Type: Basic Launch

  • Click Save and Close.

  • Once the link is created and tool is available to add in all of the courses that the deployment was shared with above.
