To unblock Camera and Microphone, click the Lock icon located next to PitchVantage URL.
Go down to Permissions to unblock camera and/or microphone.
Refresh the webpage. A small Window will pop up, tick the box next to Remember this decision then click Allow.
Now log into PitchVantage and start recording. If you still see the error message, contact us for help or go through the list below to troubleshoot other factors that could block access:
-Close all other applications and browser tabs
-Is browser up to date? On Windows: click the three horizontal lines in the upper-right corner of the browser, then click Help > About Firefox > Check for updates. On Mac: click Firefox on the menu bar at the top left corner of your screen, then click About Firefox > Check for updates
-Clear Cache (Firefox)
-Are mic and cam plugged in (external device) AND turned on? Disconnect and reconnect
-Update device driver under Device Manager
-Try a different browser
-Check your anti-virus software
-Does your mic and cam work in other applications such as Skype or Zoom? If not, hardware might be the problem
